Two Form One Admissions Briefing Sessions 2019-2020 were held last Saturday 27th October 2018, which attracted a record number of more than 2000 prospective parents and students.
After greeting the visitors with a warm welcome, Principal Mr. Dennis Yuen addressed the audience in the capacity-packed school hall. He highlighted the mission and education principles of St. Paul’s College, as well as the long-standing heritage and tradition we pride ourselves on.
The subsequent presentations by the Vice Principals covered the wide-ranging academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular school curricula at SPC, as well as the selection process and the application procedure.
The final part of both briefing sessions was led by some of our students and two graduates from the Class of 2018. Chan Chun Ngai (2B) and Ung Kai Yin, Aidan (2C) shared the learning experiences they had in Form 1 last year, while two of our STEM members, Chan Chun Hei, King (6C) and Yau Lok Hei, Erik (4D) made a lively presentation of their award-winning scientific invention: an eco-friendly air-conditioner. Finally, the two alumni, Chan Lok Hin and Chui Sing Hong Ernest, now studying at the University of Hong Kong, paid tribute to the College for providing them with a caring, self-affirming and wide-ranging learning environment that promotes moral development and academic excellence.
