Class of 1968 - Golden Jubilee

Last Monday morning's assembly was graced with the reminiscences of Mr. Stephen Ip (Class of 1968), former secretary of the HKSAR Economic Development and Labour Bureau. The speech was informative, inspiring and amusing, and the spellbound audience wished that the 10 minute presentation was much longer!

Introduced by classmate and originator of the St. Paul's College Eminent Speaker Series Mr. Tenny Doone, Mr. Ip recounted some highlights of his career of service to Hong Kong, and told of how he is spending his retirement not in well deserved rest, but rather in helping others.

Another alumnus, Mr. Simon Au Yeung Fai recounted how the College Song influences his life and careers. He reminded his young brothers to live up the spirit of the College, “All for Each and Each for All”.

The Class of '68 brothers were in attendance for the morning assemblies, and the years melted away as the Golden Jubilee brethren joined to gather together for photos in the Conference Room, a review of the Campus Enhancement Project and a tour of the College.

We salute the Class of '68 on their 50th anniversary: for their service to the school, for their contributions to Hong Kong, and for spreading the SPC spirit around the globe through their academic prowess, their spirit of adventure, and their entrepreneurship.
