Second PTA Meeting 2017/2018
Every year, the St. Paul's College Parent-Teacher Association organises talks on diverse subjects, which aim to bring parents and teachers up to speed on information and knowledge regarding bringing up and educating adolescent boys.

At the second PTA meeting for this academic year on 16th December 2017, Mr. Lam Chong Hang, Chairman of the SPC PTA, welcomed the guest speaker, Dr. Chan Ho Yung, who spoke on the theme: "To change for the better -- change is the key to raising healthy kids".

A specialist in the field of adolescent education and development, Dr. Chan pointed out that undesirable changes in adolescent behaviour are often subtle and cumulatively damaging, and that in many instances, they are intimately and ultimately linked to the changes in the loving relationship between the two parents. While parents have to be alert to changes in their relationships both with their children and with their spouses, Dr. Chan recommended that they should strive to overcome family relationship problems with love, care and understanding.

Dr. Chan's talk was well received by both teachers and parents in attendance. The meeting concluded with informal chats between teachers and parents over tea and refreshments.
