Tea Gathering and Sharing Session with HKUSU on Archiving and Historical Research
During the last Easter holidays, Ms Flora Wong, Head of History and Integrated Humanities, and four alumni working for the College Heritage Project were invited to be the guests of honour at a tea gathering hosted by the Popularly Elected Union Councilors of the Hong Kong University Students’ Union. The theme of the event was Archiving and Historical Research.

As part of the tea gathering’s programme, our team took part in a sharing session, in which we talked about the opportunities and challenges that we had encountered since the commencement of the project in 2014.

We also shared our successes in completing three heritage projects, namely, the St. Paul’s College Heritage Trail, the College History Gallery and the Digital Archives System. Of particular interest to the attendees were the practical issues involved with regard to the acquisition and preservation of memorabilia of historical value to the College and its community.

Incidentally, the College Heritage Team is committed to collecting and curating photos, documents and artefacts related to St. Paul’s College. If you would like to donate or loan your prized possessions to the school, do contact us via our website at http://archives.spc.edu.hk, or email us at heritage@spc.edu.hk.

We would greatly value your support and donations for the continued success of our project.
