Form One Parents' Orientation Day

The Form One Parents’ Orientation Day was successfully held in the School Hall on Saturday, 27th Aug, 2016

The Principal, Mr. Dennis Yuen, and the Assistant Vice Principals, Mrs Y.H. Chung, Mr. W.H. Wong and Mr. K.H. Yuen, conducted the programme by providing the parents of our incoming batch of Form One students with useful information that can help their children thrive and succeed at St. Paul’s.

Also in attendance was Mr. Ip Siu Wai, Chairman of the SPC Parent-Teacher Association, who highlighted to the parents the important role and work of the PTA in assisting their children in their growth and development at secondary level.

The parents were also informed of various student support units and measures that are in place and at hand to ensure a smooth transition for their kids to the secondary school life at St. Paul's.

One of the highlights of the day was a sharing session by our current students. Tam Hok Yiu Sean (6B), Chan Ho Chun Adrian (3F), Chew Chun Hin Marcus (4B) and Chu Reagan King Yeung (2D) took the stage one by one and shared with the audience some of their experiences at St. Paul’s. Their topics were wide and diverse, ranging from leadership to time management, and from academic work to overseas study tours.

The day ended with the parents meeting the form teachers of their children.

The College would like to thank the parents for taking the time to attend the programme. We also appreciate the hard work of the student organising committee. They are: Ng Chun Ying (2A), Chui Qian Fan Donald (2E), Chan Tsz Ho Jason (2E), Chu Reagan King (2D), Chung Ming Hin Caleb (2E) and Lee Jasper Yee Jing (2D).

We wish our Form One students great success in the new school year.
