English Debate Team Enters Quarter Final of Sing Tao Debate

Congratulations to St. Paul’s College English Debate Team on their advancement to the Quarter-Final Round of Sing Tao Inter-school Debating Competition after their success in the Round 3 debate held on 7 March 2015 (Saturday).  In the debate, our team presented a convincing case against the motion “Selling flats among the public rental housing developments to Green Form applicants in the form of a pilot scheme brings more advantages than disadvantages” and won the debate by 3 to 0. The members of the team were:

Stage Debaters – Hysan Woo (5A), Ivan Sin (4C), Tristan Lau (5E)

Other Debaters – Jeremy Wong (4E), Timmy So (3C), Tinki Lo (4F).

Hysan Woo (5A) was named Best Debater and Best Interrogative Debater.
