Form One Bridging Course 2016

The Form One Bridging Course has been successfully held over the past two weeks.  The bridging course is conducted every summer for our incoming Form One students to help them transition smoothly from primary school into the secondary school life at St. Paul’s.

One major aim of the bridging course is to equip the participants with essential English language skills for academic success in our College, which uses English as the medium of instruction. Another, and equally important, aim of the course is to reinforce and extend students’ abilities to effectively cope with the rigorous Chinese curriculum at the secondary level. Last but not least, the ten-day programme provides ample opportunity for the new first-formers to become familiar with the new school environment as well as to get to know one another.

With the successful completion of this year’s Form One Bridging Course, we look forward to formally welcoming our new batch of Form One students to St. Paul’s on 1st September 2016.
