College Scouts Group comes first in 2016 Island Scout Trail Walk (25km Group)

A team of four scouts from the 10th Hong Kong Group won the championship in the 25km Group of the Island Scout Trail Walk, which took place on 20th March 2016.

Our champion team finished the first half (25 km) of the Hong Kong Trail with a record-breaking time of 3 hours 18 minutes. 

Two other teams from our College Scouts Group also won third and fourth runner-up respectively in the 25km race.  Their fine performance was matched by our 50km teams, which became second and  third runner-up winners in the 50km Group. 

The Island Scout Trail Walk is an activity organized by the Scout Association of Hong Kong – Hong Kong Island Region to raise funds for charity.  It requires the participants, in teams of four, to complete 25km or 50km of the Hong Kong Trail. 

The names of the 10th Hong Kong Group winners are as follows:

25km Champion Team:

Sum Ling Shan Ian (2F), Lo Chung Hin Adrian (2A), Ng Yui Him Jayden (2B), Wong Rui Yan Ryan (1A)

25km Third Runner-up Team:

Wan Tsz Fung (1E), Chan Yiu Fai Thomas (1B), Liew Jia Jun (2F), Lo Hui Nam Ernest (2A)

25km Fourth Runner-up Team:

Law Man Chak Anson (1A), Wong On Bond Jacky (3E), Wu Tsun Fen Wilfred (2C), Shum King Heng Colin (1D)

50km Second Runner-up Team:

Wong Wai Tan Ivan (4E), Hon Zi Au Larry (5A), Lee Lon Ji Justin (3B), Wu Chi Fung Ivan (5F)

50km Third Runner-up Team:

Cheng Julian (3E), Leung Kit Yat Ivan (4F), Lai Long Kan Alfonso (3E), Chu Tsz Chim James (3C)
