Job Shadowing and Internship Programme 2024

This summer, more than 60 senior form students took part in our job shadowing and internship programme, where they visited alumni in the real work environment, observed daily tasks, and engaged in a range of exploration activities.

A group of students had the opportunity to conduct biomedical research in laboratories at Hong Kong Baptist University. The programme was co-organised by the Alumni Association and the Careers and Life Planning Team.

During the wrap-up event held last Saturday, two alumni (Prof Liang Hin Suen Raymond (Class of 1972) and Mr Ching Wai Chuen Antonio (Class of 1975)) and two students (Lee Ming Hin (5E) and Lee Nim Ching (5E)) engaged in a discussion about this year’s theme, “Change”. The session was facilitated by Mr Lau Tsz King Bosco, Mentorship Director of the Alumni Association.

The wrap-up event also featured student presentations about what students had learnt during the job shadowing or internship experience.

We are very grateful to our alumni from different professions for providing students with these invaluable learning experiences.
