First Staff Development Day 2017 / 2018
The first Staff Development Day for the new school year 2017/18 was held on 31st August 2017. The development programme, organised by the Careers and Life Planning Team, aimed to equip our teachers with necessary skills and knowledge as we strive to develop a whole-school approach to careers and life planning education for our students.

We were delighted to have Ms Grace Wong and Mr Tony Mak, School Development Officers from the Career and Life Adventure Planning for Youth Programme (CLAP) speak to the teaching staff. They talked about the latest trends in life planning education and also covered some basic career counselling skills and theories.

Through their informative presentations, our teachers have become more aware and confident of their possible roles as careers and life-planning coaches for our students.

It is also worth mentioning that we are entering into the second year of our three-year collaboration with CLAP. Staff from CLAP have assisted us in holding various activities and functions such as conducting the Career Interest Inventory Personality Test for Form 5, briefing our alumni mentors about effective mentorship and most importantly, expanding our careers and life planning resources for the visually impaired students in our College.

Two other staff development days have been scheduled for October 2017 and May 2018 respectively.
