22. The Darwin-Linnaeus Prize for Biology
The prize is named after two eminent Biologists - Charles Darwin, whose theory of natural selection has influenced more people than any other biologist in history, and Carolus Linnaeus, whose binomial system of taxonomy has laid the foundation for the naming and classification of all living things to date. The prize was donated by Mr. Tse Sik Yan, a St. Paul's College alumnus, to pay tribute to all the past, present and future Biology teachers of his alma mater and to provide a form of recognition and encouragement for the present and future St. Paul's students in their interest and study of Biology and of the living world.
